Rxvt is an
8-bit clean, color xterm replacement that uses significantly less memory than a conventional xterm. Dramatically faster than Konsole. It can be
configured to support better font size, colour, background noline. I use
rxvt -cr
green -pr red -bd red -name "This rxvt is modified by J.Bakshi" -sr
-cursorColor2 red -scrollColor white -troughColor black as my
configuration

Another very fast and small terminal
is aterm. aterm is a colour vt102

is my configuration aterm -cr green -name "This
aterm is modified by J.Bakshi" -sr -cursorColor2 red
